Kirsta is a music teacher and professional musician based in St Albans, originally from Scotland. Teaching is at the heart of what she does, and she brings warmth, creativity and a depth of experience to every lesson.
She is an experienced vocal and instrumental coach, working with both children and adults across a wide range of abilities and musical styles.
Kirsta teaches singing, piano, flute and recorder, with particular strengths in Popular and Rock, Jazz and Musical Theatre. Her background in music education, acting and musical theatre allows her to support students not only technically, but also in building confidence and developing strong performance skills.
Driven by a genuine love of learning, Kirsta continues to develop her own musical and acting skills, believing that teaching is a shared journey of growth. This ongoing development keeps her teaching fresh, inspiring and firmly grounded in real performance experience.
Alongside her teaching, Kirsta works regularly as a performing musician, providing bespoke live music for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations.
Combining singing, piano and flute, she creates tailored performances to suit each occasion, from relaxed background music to lively, engaging sets.
